What

would you do if you were stranded on Rhode Island alone? You sure

won’t get bored if you happen to be a Tetris addict. Brown

University, on the Rhode Island, sports a towering 14-storey

video display that allows passers-by to play a game of Tetris, which

can be seen for several kilometers. The project, called "La

Bastille", is currently the world’s largest fully-functional Tetris

game. It contains 11 custom-built circuit boards, a 12-storey data

network, a PC running Linux, and over 10,000 Christmas

lights.
