A Personal SEO Tool for your Website

If your website is not optimized for search engines, you’ll never get the traffic you’re looking for. A tool called SEO tool panel can be used to easily optimize your website for best results. Let’s set it up.

Step 1: Download SEO Panel from http://www.seopanel.in/spdownload/. Unzip the package and upload all the files of this unzip folder to web accessible directory on your server or hosting account.

Step 2: After uploading all files to the web server directory, change the permissions on config/sp-config.php to be writable by all i.e 666 or -rw-rw-rw.

Step 3: Also change the permissions on the tmp directory to be writable by all i.e 777 or -rwxrwxrwx.

Step 4: Open your web browser and visit the location or directory where you placed SEO Panel with the addition of install/index.php, for eg: http://www.yourdomain.com/seopanel/install/

Note: Here, seopanel is the directory where we had extracted all the files in step 1. It might be different in your case.

Step 5: Follow the steps and fill out all the requested information.

Step 6: Now again change the permissions on config/sp-config.php to be writable only by yourself 644 or -rw-r--r and remove the install directory. Login to your SEO Panel to access Admin Interface by using default credentials i.e Username: spadmin and Password: spadmin.

Step 7: After all this installation process, you will finally get your dashboard to add your website. Fill up all the details and click on Proceed button.

Step 8: In SEO Plugins tab, you can add different plugins to extend the functionality of SEO Panel. Here you can see the Meta Tag Generator plugin to generate meta tags for your website.

Step 9: In your dashboard it also shows web statics of your website, like ranks, backlinks etc.

Step 10: You can also generate a complete SEO report of your website by using Report Generation Manager. Besides this, there are lot of other tools and functions available to optimize your website.
