Acer Power Sx

This was the only PC that was built around an SiS 630 chipset. This was accompanied by a PIII/800 MHz with 64 MB RAM. It also comes with a 52X CD-ROM drive but does not have an Ethernet card. It lost points because of its 10 GB hard drive.

On performance, the PC didn’t do very well, getting an average score of 17.8 in the benchmarks. Considering this performance score, and the high price, the machine received the lowest performance/price ratio in this category.

The machine comes with Windows 98SE Recovery CD and PC Cillin AntiVirus software. Priced at Rs 43,000, the Acer Sx might not be a good choice looking at the associated performance and features even though it comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
