ACPL Exports Pvt Ltd, a leading jewelry exporter based in Agra, has selected 2 X IBM P7R1 IBM Power Linux systems over HP and Dell to sustain their business growth. The new systems integrate the company's SAP ERP management software, boosting performance 32 percent and lowering costs as much as 15% percent without increasing the size of its IT footprint. Established in 1948, ACPL Exports Pvt. Ltd has emerged as the largest Indian supplier of silver jewelry, findings and chains. ACPL EXPORTS have been formally awarded the title 'Highest Exporter in terms of Silver jewelry products' from Gems and Jewelry council of India for the last 17 years. Today ACPL employs around 2000 people and relies on a manufacturing facility covering over 250,000 sq.ft.

The new Power Systems will support the company's aggressive retail expansion strategy providing more efficient cloud services than commodity servers.
