Adcom ACSP MW-1480

This 4.1 speaker set (1480 W PMPO) with satellite speakers similar to the 4.1 and 5.1 sets reviewed last month, and a woofer similar to the 2.1 set has a rather weak bass, even at full setting. You might be able to deal with this from the sound-card. The treble is strong, and can at times be a bit too much. There are two volume controls. These speakers suffice for normal listening, but distortion creeps in at high volumes. Unless you really need four satellite speakers, the 2.1 set (ACSPSW-2100) from Adcom itself might be a better deal, at a hundred rupees more.
