Adcom’s 4.1 Speakers

The satellites are the same as those with the 2.1 set, only there are four, and the subwoofer is more powerful. There is no remote control, and the controls are on the subwoofer itself. Performance is similar to the 2.1, but for the extra satellites.

Sound reproduction is okay in the middle ranges, but suffers at low and high frequencies (<30 Hz, >17.5 KHz) and at higher volumes. Response is not uniform across frequencies. These are not for those into hard or loud music. Like others, if your sound card does not support 4.1 speakers, it will split the signals to all speakers.
