After Rahul Gandhi, Hacktivists Target Vijay Mallya on Twitter

After Rahul Gandhi, convicted liquor baron Vijay Mallya is facing the ire of hacktivist group Legion on twitter. His twitter and email accounts were hacked today and details regarding his purported bank account, offshore investments, luxury cards and phone number were posted on popular social media platform.

Interestingly, this is the same group which attacked Rahul Gandhi's and INC's account.

Mallya who is on the run from creditors later tweeted that a hacking group called Legion had hacked into his twitter and email accounts and posted those details.

“Legion will release a list of all documents pertaining to mallya over the course of few days. More info on Mallyas bank accounts & foreign assets will be published as the investigation is completed in some other matters,” they tweeted.

The group tweeted out his alleged investment details and a document that claimed to include his overseas assets. They also tweeted out a list of the luxury cars at his mansion in the U.K.

According to their tweets, Legion has launched a fight against ‘corrupt’ people. They also tweeted that a couple of documents will be released in the coming days and will also release Congress emails on New Year.

Vijay Mallya, whose grounded airline Kingfisher owes Rs 9000 crore to 17-banks has been declared a proclaimed offender by a special PMLA court.
