Alcatel launches Go Flip feature phone with 4G LTE support

Alcatel has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a feature phone in the US. Dubbed Alcatel Go Flip, the smartphone flaunts a clamshell design and is available in the country at $75 (approximately Rs 4,840).

The Alcatel Go Flip comes with a 2.8-inch display with 240x320 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a 1.1GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. It offers 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB by installing a microSD card.

The smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. Weighing 116 grams, the feature phone is backed by a 482mAh battery and the company claims that it offers up to 6.5 hours of talktime and up to 11 days of standby time.

Recently, Alcatel launched its Android-based 4G tablet Pixi 4 (7) in India at Rs 6,499. In terms of specifications, the Pixi 4 (7) has a 7-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There's 16GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 64GB in size.

Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, the tablet offers dual-SIM functionality. It has an 8MP primary camera with LED flash, as well as a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies. Backed by a 4,000mAh, the Pixi 4 (7) offers 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as major connectivity options.
