Anti-spam for Exchange servers

X-Spam, an anti-spam software for Microsoft Exchange 2000-2003 servers, has been launched commercially by MicroWorld Software Services. It is an adaptive software that uses advanced Heuristic Filter engine with Regular Expression and Meta Tests to identify and block the spam. X-Spam fights spam at two levels: at the mail protocol level, and after the mail is accepted. The software has a predefined customizable spam threshold, if the total spam score of the mail crosses that threshold, then its tagged as spam. The product uses about 700 rules of regular expressions to check mail headers and blacklisted servers to get an accuracy of 95-98 percent in fighting spam. A Heuristic Scoring is also generated using a Genetic Algorithm (based on Artificial Intelligence). X-Spam is available on a CD with two manuals for more than 100 users. For licenses less than 100, soft copies of the manuals are provided with the product. It can be bought for one, two and three years. It is a maintenance-free software and once installed can stay updated by automatically downloading the latest Rule Sets.
