Vivo, the Chinese electronics giant, is preparing to debut its flagship X100 smartphone in China. On 13 November at 4:30 pm (IST), the business will announce at least three new phones: the Vivo X100, the Vivo X100 Pro, and the Vivo X100 Pro+. The Vivo X100 series is rumoured to use MediaTek's forthcoming Dimensity 9300 chipset, according to rumours.

Vivo X100 series: Specifications

A Chinese leaker published the camera specifications for the Vivo X100 series just before the official debut. The regular Vivo X100 is rumoured to contain a triple rear camera system, as well as a Sony IMX920 primary sensor.

The Vivo X100 is expected to have a rear camera setup with a Sony IMX920 primary sensor, a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 wide-angle lens with a 15mm focal length, and an OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto macro camera with 3x optical zoom, according to a Weibo tipster named Digital Chat Station.

Vivo X100 series: Camera

The "Vario-Tessar" camera system has an aperture range of f/1.57 to f/2.57 and a focal length range of 15mm to 70mm. According to the source, the Vivo X100 series phone would include a 1.5K BOE curved display with a hole punch cutout in the centre. According to the source, the Vivo X100 series would be the first to employ Low Power Double Data Rate 5 Turbo (LPDDR5T) technology.

iQOO 12: Release

Meanwhile, Vivo's sub-brand iQOO has confirmed the Indian launch date of its upcoming flagship smartphone, the iQOO 12. This iQOO 11 successor will be released in the country on 12 December, a month after its China debut on 7 November.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset has previously been revealed as powering the future iQOO 12 series. The iQOO 12 series will also be the first in India to have Qualcomm's most powerful chipset, according to the smartphone manufacturer.
