What is currently known about the new iPhones is listed below

  • The co-founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Ross Young, told MacRumors that Apple plans to change the size of its iPhone screens in 2024, which is why the iPhone 16 Pro versions would feature gigantic displays.
  • The iPhone 16 Pro and Max variants will have screens that are 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively, according to the cited source. These are undoubtedly OLED displays because Apple has used them on most devices.

  • In contrast, the current iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max display measures 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. Rumour has it that Apple will use the same display panels on its phones through 2023 and won't make any changes to them for the iPhone 15 series.

Apple iPhone 15 Predicted Features

  • The iPhone 15 and its Plus edition are expected to be powered by Apple's Bionic A16 CPU, while the Pro variants will house the new A17 chip. All variants are thought to have USB Type-C connections instead of Apple's exclusive Lightning port.

  • The devices are said to include the new Dynamic Island feature from the business, which was only made available on the iPhone 14 Pro versions. This suggests that the punch-hole display design may be present on all units.
  • In recent versions, Apple is also expected to feature a bigger battery pack and better energy optimisations. It's anticipated that the iPhone 15 series will ship with iOS 17 already installed.
  • There are rumours that the standard versions may get a significant camera upgrade. In the rear camera setup, a 48-megapixel primary sensor might replace the 12-megapixel main camera used in previous generations.
  • Since telephoto cameras are rumoured to be reserved for high-end handsets, the regular variants will have one different from the Pro models. For the Pro models, bigger sensors are projected to produce better pictures.
