Armfree Mouse Pad

Here’s a mouse pad that promises two-in-one functionality–one of a regular mouse pad and the other of preventing stress injuries of the wrist and improving your blood circulation.

This mouse pad, called Armfree Mouse Pad from DTY, is shaped like a triangle, which you use with the base of the triangle facing upwards. The actual mouse pad is in the larger part of the base of the triangle.

The health functionality comes from the tip of the triangle, which has a soft, rounded rest for the wrist that moves as you move the mouse. Beneath the round cushion lie three magnetic balls that are supposed to massage your wrist as you spend many painstaking hours moving your mouse and clicking away at your computer.

At first looks, you’ll find the mouse pad ‘different’, simply because of the way it looks. When you start using it, however, you’ll find it works and feels like any other mouse pad, with a couple of negatives thrown in. One, as you move the mouse towards yourself, it hits the round cushion and you have to lift your mouse and move it towards the front of the pad. Another minus is that though the ‘health’ cushion is comfortable, when you use it for a long time you find the base of your wrist getting sweaty.

At Rs 300, this mouse pad is expensive.
