Asus introduces Fonepad 7 Dual Sim Tablet at Rs 12,999. The latest Asus Fonepad 7 comes with an improved processor and camera compared to the refresh launched last year. The Fonepad 7 dual-SIM is the third variant of the tablet to reach Indian stores. The tablet will compete with its single-sim version as well as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo.

Asus Fonepad 7 tablet sports a 7-inch LED Backlit IPS display with 1280×800 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by a dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. 

Asus Fonepad 7 Dual Sim runs Android 4.3 with a custom user interface running on top. Asus has skinned UI elements like the notification tray and has added another button with the three Android on-screen navigation keys for launching widget-like utility apps.

The tablet comes equipped with a 5 MP rear camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi and 3G, along with Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS support. The 8GB onboard storage is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card slot, along with 16 GB cloud storage fore 1 year. The tablet weighs 340 grams, runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version and loaded with 3910 mAh battery for long-time usage.
