With a price tag of nearly 30k one would wonder what is so
special about this mother board. The features that stand out in this P55 express
chipset based motherboard include its Multi-GPU Technology and ROG (Republic Of
Gaming) features. The multi-GPU technology enables users to choose either ATI's

single board for enhanced experience. This feature is also important due to buzz
around usage of GPUs to increase overall processing power of desktops. Other
important feature of Maximus III Extreme motherboard is the facility to
wirelessly overclock it. This motherboard comes with an RC Bluetooth card that
can be configured with a Bluetooth cell phone, thus giving a user capability to
tweak system parameters like voltage and frequency besides wire free monitoring.
