Asus ROG Phone 3 Launched in India at Rs. 49,999, Sold via Flipkart

The Asus ROG Phone 3 is finally here and it is the first smartphone to come with the new Snapdragon 865 plus processor in India. The new Asus ROG Phone 3 is the successor to the ROG Phone 2. ROG or the Republic of Gamers is Asus’s gaming division that makes high-end gaming devices. Mostly known for its laptops and gaming components the ROG division of Asus has been making the ROG Phones since the launch of the original ROG Phone in 2018. The new ROG Phone 3 has launched with the best of the best hardware. The smartphone will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in India from 6th August.

Asus ROG Phone 3 will officially be the first smartphone to come with the Snapdragon 865+ processor in India. The display is a 6.59 inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for protection. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 6,000mAh with support for 30W fast charging. The smartphone is powered by the latest 865 plus processor clocked at 3.1 GHz. There is a triple-camera layout at the back. The primary camera is a 64MP shooter. The secondary camera is a 13MP ultrawide shooter. The third camera is a 5MP macro shooter. The dual front-facing speakers on the Asus ROG Phone 3 come with GameFX and Dirac HD Sound. There are four microphones on the device to help with noise cancellation and sound separation. There are air triggers at the side of the Asus ROG Phone 3 that are programmable by users and have been improved to offer better touch response. The ROG phone 3 comes with Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and support for 5G. There is no support for memory expansion. 

Asus ROG Phone 3 GameCool 3:

The new device will come with a far superior cooling solution called the GameCool 3. This is an improvement over the previous Asus ROG Phone 2 cooling tech. Asus has improved the technology they already had in the ROG Phone 2 with some additions. In GameCool3 Asus has designed a better 3D copper vapor chamber and increased the size of the heatsink by 6 times.  

Asus ROG Phone 3 Accessories:

As it is with any gaming smartphone the new Asus ROG Phone 3 also comes with a lot of gaming accessories. The new accessories are under the name of Kunai which is a reference to the throwing blades used by the Japanese. There is a ROG Kunai 3 controller, gamepad, Bumper, charger, and grip. There are other accessories as well that are carried forward from the previous generations of the ROG Phones like the new ROG TwinView Dock 3 which has another screen and will give a dual-screen experience. This is a great option for mobile streamers.
