Azoi brings Wello smartphone cover for health freaks

Health has become integral to everyone's life and keeping a check on it frequently is being encouraged via various sources most notably, smart wearable devices that can analyze your body functioning. And now, another source of health tracking comes in the form of mobile cases from company called Azoi. This US based company has launched Wello, which is primarily a mobile casing for iPhone that helps you track your health with a device that is fitted underneath the mobile cover.

"With just a few powerful sensors, Wello fits onto a smartphone and measures a number of key vitals including heart rate, temperature, blood pressure, electrocardiography (ECG), blood oxygenation, lung functions and more - with a high level of accuracy. With Wello, people can track key data to heighten their awareness towards body's state", according to the company.

To make use of Wello, all one has to do is simply hold the case for a few moments wherein the sensors measure and analyze your body reading and pass on information to the Wello app. One can also connect Wello with other health and fitness devices such as pedometers and sleep trackers to help identify how different behaviours can affect one's bodily state.

Wello has been made available for pre-order Azoi's website in specific markets like India, United States, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, United Kingdom and across the EU and priced at Rs 12,350 in India, the device will be shipping from summer 2014.
