High response time, few features, but decent performance and great pricing describe this monitor in a nutshell.
It provides bare-bone functionality, without speakers and a limited tilt angle. Though it would reduce clutter on the desktop with an inbuilt power adapter, the big stand below takes up a little more space than others. Also the OSD controls, though
providing good functionality are a bit tacky to use. You would need to press them a bit harder than the other monitors
On the performance front, it scored lower than others in readability at wide horizontal and vertical angles compared to others.
If you want to do a large deployment of LCD monitors in your organization then this is a good buy. The only hitch in mass deployment could be that it consumes a little more electricity than the others. It is just a bit more at 30 watts than the average 28 watts.
On the other hand, you could also consider the CMV 522, which at the same price point offers much better features with similar performance. If there would have been a few more features at the same price, we could have had a winner on our hands.
