boAt Officially Announces its Smart Ring Price, Sale Started Today in India

BoAt Ring has begun operations in India after being announced last month. Starting today, August 28, it will be available for purchase on popular e-commerce sites Amazon and Flipkart. You get the necessary health and fitness features that come with a wristwatch for Rs 8,999. In addition, it offers a few specialized skills.

boAt touch control features

Music controls: Additionally, the ring allows simple touch capabilities for switching tunes, taking photographs, and even navigating apps. There is Bluetooth 5.0 support. The Smart Ring from boAt is touted to charge completely in around 1.5 hours and run for up to 7 days on a single charge.

Click pictures: You can remotely control the shutter of the connected phone's camera and take pictures. This would be handy for clicking pictures of large groups because you can put the phone away and if the frame is right, shoot.

Navigate apps: You can swipe a boat tire and browse short video apps. The company did not specify the list of compatible apps and which actions lead to which actions.

boAt’s ring Health and other features

The basics: You can monitor your heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and even a body temperature sensor with the BoAt Ring. You can track your workout modes, calories, and steps. Additionally, there is activity monitoring for walking, jogging, and other activities as well as Body Recovery tracking, which monitors the body's levels of recovery using heart rate variability analysis and activity logs.

You can also set goals and keep an eye on them via the boAt Ring app. And don’t forget step, calorie, and distance tracking.

Emergency Calls: In emergency situations, BoAt Ring can initiate emergency calls and prove to be a life-saving feature.

Design: BoAt Smart Ring can be selected in 3 different sizes such as 17.40mm, 19.15mm and 20.85mm. They are made of high quality ceramic and metal. It is rated 5ATM water resistant to a depth of 50 meters.

Battery life: The Company claims a 7-day battery life and offers "smart" charging with its charger.

The BoAt Ring is priced at Rs 8,999 and you can buy it on Flipkart and Amazon starting August 28. Now that the Ring boat is here, Noise is expected to launch its own Luna Ring, and some eyes are on rings from other brands like Apple and Samsung.
