Bose India has launched the Wave Music System III, updating its popular Bose Wave Music System series with more features. The design has been changed, as it is much smaller now been changed from from that of its predecessors, but they have augmented its acclaimed audio performance and small size with more functionality and more versatility. It is lighter than its predecessor by 2.5kilograms and smaller by almost 16cms in height. This model comes with some specific changes done to add to its functionality. The top panel is free from clutter, unlike the predecessor which had everything from the LCD panel to the CD drive on the top as in traditional CD music players. Bose 3 has include the drive-in at the front and one just has to push a CD in. The top has a touch panel with power on/off controls that are completely invisible until touched. The panel also boasts of a new addition in the dual alarm system which can set separate wake-up times with alarms each set to different sources and volumes. To the back side lies FM antenna, auxiliary and headphone ports, and the bose link connecter port.

The display is a lot majestic now and lays on the front panle right above the in-built drive. Performance wise Wave Music System III is an all-in-one solution as you can play music through multiple sources- like FM radio or your smartphone. The sound quality is rich and deep and the radio reception is clear. The sound quality in the low to mid range, which is more appealing to human ears, is very impressive and distortion free and will be eventually liked by listeners. This is a typical Bose feature and is the reason why their products are so popular. The device is very easy to operate as there is an infrared remote to control it. The system also includes features like Bose Link input for connection to optional accessories, Wave Connect Kit for dock-and-play with an iPod or iPhone, and the Wave Multi-CD Changer for uninterrupted enjoyment of three additional CDs.

Bottomline: Another impressive Bose music system with some new features like an in-built drive, a touch panel, the dual alarm and above all the price, which at 34k is not the best in the market, but for a Bose Wave series product, it is a hot cake.
