Last year we introduced the Brand of the Year awards. Two of them infact, one for an MNC brand and one for an Indian brand.
This year again, the winners are the same, Wipro as the Indian brand and Microsoft as the MNC brand.

The methodology for identifying them has been similar to the one adopted last year. We shortlisted brands (the companies) that made it to the top one hundred of last years DQ Top 20. The respondents, who were the same as for the enterprise products were asked the following five questions. A given question was asked only if the answer to the previous question was in the affirmative.
- Are you aware of the brand?
- Are you familiar with the brand?
- Is the brand relevant to you?
- Do you trust the brand?
- Are you able to bond with the brand, do they like the brand a lot?
