Blackberry

Blackberry has its own Secure Work Space that works on both; iOS and Android devices. This service already provides enterprise IT departments the ability to manage company phones and tablets running Blackberry OS, but Secure Work Space extends those control and security tools to iOS and Android devices.

Secure Work Space provides iOS and Android devices on enterprise networks with special, secure apps for email, contacts and calendar. An HTML5-compatible browser will also be available. The service routes all data either in-transit or at rest through Blackberry's global infrastructure without the need for users to log into a VPN. Secure Work Space joins competing services such as Enterproid and connected devices, but already has a leg up on them with iOS support.

BlackBerry Work space is the extension of BlackBerry Balance enterprise solutions which is available to users on the Android and iOS platform. Our services are well appreciated across the world and with multi-platform solutions we are looking to serve more business enterprises on multi-platforms" said.

Samsung

The new Galaxy Note 3 comes with Samsung KNOX enterprise mobile security solution. Users can activate Samsung KNOX to run and store security-sensitive applications and data inside a protected execution environment called "container." The security inside the container is strengthened by system-level protection of Samsung KNOX against malware and phishing attacks as well as hacking attempts on physical devices when devices are stolen or lost. Users can store enterprise applications and data such as corporate email, contacts and calendar and allow the IT department to manage the container through EAS (Exchange ActiveSync Server). "These features make the Galaxy Note 3 an ideal device for BYOD," added the press note. KNOX-enabled Samsung Android devices allow enterprise applications to be isolated from users' personal apps. One of the key features of KNOX is that it builds a dual-persona framework into the operating system which integrates deep with the device and also offers better inter-operability between EMM vendors.

Samsung Enterprise Mobility comes with solutions that are ready for enterprise use, providing industry leading security and management controls that ensure data protection and secure connectivity from anywhere. These include VPN and ODE that ensure secure connection to corporate data, and MDM solutions that help enterprises manage enterprise mobility securely and effectively. Additionally, EAS keeps business professionals connected to company email, calendars, contacts and tasks from wherever they are. With Samsung Enterprise Software Development Kit, businesses can extend their management on device controls and security features by creating customized enterprise applications. This functionality allows businesses to take advantage of the full capabilities offered by Samsung's mobile devices to effectively implement BYOD and other enterprise mobility initiatives.
