Canon Image Square launches its 1st store in Ranchi

Canon, a world leader in digital imaging launches its first Canon Image Square (CIS) in Ranchi. The company plans to expand its retail business by setting-up exclusive CIS outlets to engage with existing and new customers.

Taking the tally to 111 Canon Image Square (CIS) stores across India, Canon plans to reach a mark of 300 stores by the end of year 2015.

The all new Canon Image Square in Ranchi is equipped with advanced technology and facilities to cater to a growing base of Canon customers in the state. The brand has developed robust plans that include aggressive marketing strategy and new product launches.

This is a store which will provide ultimate experience to customers with complete imaging and printing solutions. All the more, products and accessories such as printers, camera bags, charge, tripod etc are available under one roof.

In line with its commitment to promote photography culture in India, Canon has recently introduced the DSLR EOS 1200D in its much-acclaimed EOS range and focusing upon its new EOS 1200D ad campaign ‘Everyone can with a Canon' targeting women and family. The essence is to get people to capture moments of life rather than merely capturing a photo.

Canon expects to earn over INR 4,000cr in next four years against current INR 2,100cr. The DSLR business for Canon India since 2008 shot up to 65 per cent in 2013 and it's set to account for over 75 per cent in 2014.
