There is a swivel based control panel remote in front, with a monochrome display, for network settings, copy function, etc. The display of this HP all-in-one is too small and offers no previews either. Comparatively, the Canon all-in-ones have a much larger display and also lets you preview the pages you are about to process. The device supports wired and wireless printing, along with the eprint feature, which gives the printer a specific email address to which you can send an email of the file you want to print. The speed at which the eprinting happens really depends on size of the file attached, and the line speed of your internet connection. Setting up the printer is easy. Just connect it with a PC via a USB port and install its driver. Setting up wireless printing , though is as simple as following the install instructions, is slightly time consuming. The print and copy quality is impressive with crisp text and bright colours. Print speed is 11 ppm for B/W prints and 3 ppm for colour, which is slow for a LaserJet. The copy speed is good at 14ppm. However, the all-in-one has completely missed out on a card reader slot and USB ports. duplex printing feature requires manual intervention. Despite all its features, the price is far from justified, especially when similar all-in-ones, like the Dell 1355CNW cost three-fourth its price.

Bottomline: If it wasn't for its higher price, this all-in-one would have been a perfect companion for small offices.
