Computex 2014: Microsoft unveils 12.5 inch HP Pro X2 Tablet powered by Intel

On the second day of Computex, Microsoft unpacks its two unseen Windows devices as part of its keynote presentation. Microsoft's VP of OEM partners Nick Parker displays- the HP Pro X2 612, a 2-in-1 device and 7-inch tablet from Toshiba.

The HP Pro X2 612 is a 2-in-1 device "designed from the ground up for business". It has full HD cameras at the rear and front. It comes with a stylus using the Wacom digitiser, and enterprise security built-in. According to the company, this device can last for up to 14 hours because of two batteries - second with the detachable keyboard. The X2 boasts a 12.5-inch display with full HD resolution and will be available in Intel Core i3 and Core i5 variants. Also, Microsoft stated that another 4G version of the device would be available.

The second device, Toshiba's 7-inch tablet comes with "champagne gold" finish. The company claims that price of the device would be competitive with other 7-inch tablets available in the market, but doesn't provide details of specification and price.
