This stylish HP MFD is meant for professional photo printing and comes with a lot of features—color printer, copier, scanner and even color fax. Apart from the regular features, it also supports direct printing from a range of memory media like Compact Flash, IBM Microdrive, Smart Media, SD memory card, and Sony Memory Stick. You can even store images from these devices directly to the PC.
The MFD’s printer gave good quality graphics prints and sharp text prints making it good for both. Print speeds were equally good taking 9 ppm for text and 5 mins for a full page color graphic. The color and black copying was also equally good,
taking 9 CPM for text and 5 mins for graphic. Color copying can be useful if you want reprints of photographs but have lost the negatives. Color scanning took 40
secs.
