New Update

CyberMedia Group, Asia's largest specialty media house, has announced that its publications are now available on Android, iPad and e-book platforms. For this purpose, CyberMedia has tied up with New York-based Magzter, which has created a global digital magazine store called Magzter, which allows publishers to publish to Apple and Android devices in addition to allowing readers to check out the magazines online for those who don't have these devices. With the launch of Magzter's apps platforms, several CyberMedia publications are now available on Android as well as the iPad and various e-book readers.

CyberMedia publications Dataquest and PCQuest have already been available on the iPad, via the Zinio app and service, since early this year, and PCQuest has been available on e-book readers via the Calibre service since early 2010.

Now, with the Magzter service, Dataquest, PCQuest, Dare, Biospectrum and Voice & Data are also available on Android devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and on the iPad. The Magzter platform was launched for the iPad on June 16, 2011 and then the Android version on June 23, which works on all Android 3.0 devices like Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom, Dell Streak, LG Optimus, among many other devices that use the Android OS. Through Magzter, CyberMedia is also planning to make the publications available on other mobile platforms like Blackberry Playbook, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Samsung's BADA.
