Dell Technologies announced the introduction of new gaming and consumer laptops in India on Tuesday, 11 April, for gamers, artists, and students.

The Alienware m18 and x16 R1 laptops

Among the most current gaming machines are the Alienware m18 and x16 R1 laptops, which have 13th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs. The Alienware m18 has up to 64GB of RAM and 9TB of storage space, a QHD display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and support for NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC.

The Alienware x16 has a 240 Hz QHD+ display with a 3ms reaction time, a six-speaker arrangement, 100 micro-LEDs on the back panel, and new AlienFX Scanner, Loop, and Rainbow lighting modifications. It has up to 32 GB of RAM and 4 TB of storage. A Multi-touch AlienFX touchpad with integrated scrolling is also included.

Alienware laptops include higher-resolution FHD webcams and taller 16:10 panels with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. The Alienware laptops also contain a vapour chamber that protects the CPU and GPU, seven heat pipes, and four fans that, according to Dell, provide 25% greater ventilation and CherryMX ultra-low-profile mechanical keyboards.

Inspiron16 and Inspiron16 2-in-1 laptops

The Inspiron16 and Inspiron16 2-in-1 laptops, on the other hand, have 13th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs, WiFi 6E, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 512GB of storage, and ExpressCharge technology, which, according to Dell, can achieve up to 80 percent battery charge in an hour.

  • The FHD+ display on the Inspiron 16 is complemented by a 360-degree hinge on the 2-in-1 model. Both devices have an HDMI port, two Thunderbolt 4 connections, two USB Type-A ports, an SD card reader, and a Universal Audio Jack for I/O.

Price and Availability

The new Alienware laptops will be available on Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), Dell.com, and other locations beginning 12 April. The Alienware m18 starts at Rs.3,59,990, while the Alienware x16 starts at Rs.3,79,990.

Dell Exclusive Stores (DES) and certain multi-brand retailers will begin selling the Inspiron devices on 14 April. The Inspiron 16 will start at Rs 77,990, while the Inspiron 16 2-in-1 will start at Rs 96,990.
