Dell S2440L: A stunning LCD monitor with full HD TV experience

Dell S2440L is an edge to edge LCD monitor from Dell and is the only one in the S series of monitors without an IPS panel. This explains the rather high price of Rs. 14,000. It's 24-inch in size and has an uncommon aspect ratio of 16:9. With full HD resolution of 1920x1080p and a contrast ratio of 5000:1, it offers stunning visuals with a unique edge to edge widescreen view. The crystal clear and detailed graphics makes it ideal for entertainment, gaming, and watching movies, and so using it for simple office work shall be a waste of its awesome potential.

It is very slim, measuring just 16x22x7 inches and stands on a metal bezel that allows it to be tilted extensively up to 21-inches backward and 4-inches forward. With a 178-degree viewing angle, multiple people can together watch a movie on it. You can change the settings with touch-based controls placed on the bottom-right on the bezel. The VGA and HDMI connectors are placed at the back, just above the stand.

The monitor offers appropriate brightness modes for various tasks.
