It supports 3 video resolutions, MPEG, MJPEG and H.264 with a video frame rate upto 30 fps. The installation and detection of the camera is quite easy if you are using LAN. You just have to install the Administrator utility which will detect the camera automatically, (you can change the IP address from the web console). By logging onto the web console, you can enable the Wi-Fi connectivity also, which is an added advantage. From the console, you can take the snapshot, save the video and even speak to IP cam but the external speakers should be connected to the camera. You can also set the motion detection settings. You can select the screen area which is to be monitored for motion and also set the time for observing the motion. If you want your camera to send you the image or video on alarm through email then you can also configure it. Other options available are SD card and FTP. You can also set the sensitivity of the motion. Though D-Link DCS-920 is a UPnP camera but as compared to Digisol DG-SC2600W, it has a VGA camera.

Bottomline: If you are looking for a decent mega-pixel camera with basic features like monitoring and motion detection then this IP camera is a fairly good choice.
