Emkor Solutions aligns with Citrix to deliver Desktop & Application as a Service to Small & Medium Businesses in India and emerging markets in Asia

Emkor Solutions Limited has announced a strategic alliance with Citrix to deliver Desktop and Application as a service on Citrix platform that would offer Citrix XenApp - an on demand application delivery solution, Hosted Shared Desktop and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure,to emerging and midmarket businesses in India.  As a Citrix partner, Emkor currently will deliver these solutions to Small & Medium Businesses in India and the Middle East.

Today, cloud-based DR is poised to shake up legacy approaches and has offered IT infrastructure and operations professionals a compelling alternative, data center managers are expected to allocate nearly 50 percent of their budgets to running services in the cloud (public and private) by 2013.
