End-to-end cabling connectivity

KRONE has announced the launch of CopperTen, which it claims, is the world's first 10 Gigabit UTP Cat 6 cabling and connectivity solution. CopperTen meant for the fast growing high-end enterprise market, will essentially launch CopperTen solutions in India. It demonstrates a Shannon Capacity of 18 Gigabit/s for the full 100-meter channel due to the improved alien cross talk immunity and the reduced insertion loss. These characteristics are more than adequate for the 10 Gigabit/s Ethernet implementations being considered by IEEE 802.3-the IEEE task force developing 10GBase-T.
