One of the key focus of EZ Vidya's partnership with client schools
(Organization's Mission : Let the Child Blossom) is to channelize Information
and Communications Technology's (ICT) perspective in schools by addressing the
whole community of students, teachers, school management, parents and community.
And the way to achieve this is by making the students ICT capable making their
exercises enjoyable.
As a result, Chrysalis ICT Curriculum for K-10 students was implemented in
about 200 partner schools. This was based on research since 2002, and by
applying modern pedagogical theory and practices, Chrysalis addresses the
various kinds of talent present in students using word processing, spreadsheets,
media, programming, presentation, data manipulation, etc so that students
'express' their natural abilities effectively. In this way, the student not only
learns the 'how', but more importantly the 'why' and hence becomes an effective,
thinking and responsible user of technology.

Chrysalis lessons follow an 'Anchored instruction' model. This means learning
experiences/activities are designed around an 'anchor' or a 'central theme.'
Every lesson takes an element out of this theme, known as the 'Academic Anchor'.
The learning outcomes are achieved through academic anchor points. This gives
the learner a familiar context to work on and the technology objectives are
achieved with better student involvement. Therefore, learning becomes an
engaging activity for the student resulting in better understanding.
