Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is finally here and we all are excited. If you did not play the Chapter 2 Season 4 Galactus event then you definitely should. Now, in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5, we are leaving Marvel behind and welcoming bounty hunters across the realities to save the island. After Galactus exposed the zero point in Chapter 2 Season 4 it is our job to fix it in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Tips and Tricks:

Before we begin, let's talk about some of the changes that are coming in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5. Starting with the new locations or rather the old ones. If you open the map of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 you'll see that a lot has been updated in the center of the island. You will find a "Colossal colosseum" which as the name implies is colossally big. It is a Roman styled stadium full of loot and also an NPC. More on that later. A cool thing about the Colossal colosseum is that every time you drop in you will see something new in the middle of it. No spoilers but it's very cool. Now let's start the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Tips and Tricks:

1. On the island, you will find the "Zero Point" that Galactus made in the event but the location is unmarked. However, we found it and started to climb it thinking something cool will happen. If you do climb it, all you will get is a blinding white light on your screen and 20 shield point. Also, you will be thrown 20 feet away in a random direction.
2. There are also a lot of NPC's in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 hidden in un-named locations. You can find these locations on the map quite easily but don't expect much loot. These NPC's are fun but not useful in the grand scheme of things.
3. A new location called Hunters Haven is a good place for dropping. It is located at the same place where there was the sentinal graveyard. This is a cool place that will give you a lot of CoD vibes and there is good loot as well. If you can find the underground bunker as we did then let us know.
4. There is a lot of changes in the weapon mechanics for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5. Pump Shotguns are now gone. Even the burst firing assault rifles have been removed. Tac SMGs, LMGs, revolvers, scoped ARs, Fire traps, and crash beds are no longer part of Fortnite battle royale.
5. A new weapon that is coming is the Dragon Breath Shotgun. This gun can fire four shotgun ammo at once and has a huge spread. If you can find it that is.
6. When it comes to NPC's, beware of the Mandalorian. He is not like the other NPCs you will meet in the match. Mandalorian will shoot at you if he sees you however if you do kill him then you can find mythic weapons as well. Other NPC's will also drop something but only Mandalorian will drop mythic weapons. Most times you will get the ambient sniper rifle which has a thermal scope on it or cool jetpack.
7. Ṭhere is a new in-game currency for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 called gold. The devs clearly were feeling very creative with the name. Now, the thing about gold is that you can only find it on the island but you can't build from it. You also can't buy items from the shop using this gold. No, this gold currency is supposed to be used on the island to buy items. Very CoD Warzone inspired.
