Fortnite Season 5 Galactus Event is Marvel Cringe at Its Finest

Fortnite Season 5 is about to begin in a few hours and the much-awaited Galactus event of Season 4 has been revealed. In Fortnite Season 4 Nexus War, it was all about Marvel and characters from the Marvel universe. The Galactus event brought Season 4 to an end with a bang. The event began with players standing on a Shield hovercraft from the popular Marvel Avengers movies with Galactus looking down upon them and the world of Fortnite. There will be spoilers ahead so if you haven't played the Fortnite Galactus event till now then you should do that first.

Fortnite Galactus Event:

It beings with all the players standing on the Shield hovercraft with Galactus speaking in a booming voice with some cringy lines. Then he smacks the hovercraft with his hand sending all the players flying in the air. While you fall to your death, you will be greeted by an almost Robert Downey Jr sounding Iron Man who will explain what you need to do in order to stop Galactus from destroying the world of Fortnite and also the reality.

Then Iron Man will give you a jet pack and you will wait for Galactus to do things. After a few moments, you will be transported into the Fortnite Battle Bus as the driver, and around you will be a million more battle buses. Courtesy of Iron Man tampering with the fabric of reality. However, this time the Fortnite battle bus is not filled with players but big bombs. Iron Man's plan is for you to drive that bus near to Galactus so he eats it and all the other battle buses and explodes out of existence.

Here things get interesting as you navigate the Fortnite battle bus and shoot lasers at Galactus's drones. You will be helped by other characters from the Marvel Universe like Thor and Wolverine. There is also a cool chase sequence where you will drive the battle bus in what can be called a very Star Wars inspired maze track. Overall, the Fortnite Galactus event was fun enough but now the wait for Season 5 begins.

Fortnite Goes Star Wars Mandalorian in Season 5

Fortnite has dropped the Chapter 2 Season 5 battle pass video. While playing the Fortnite Galactus event I was suspicious of the Star Wars inspired maze but now it has come full circle. The new Fortnite Season 5 is going to now bring Star Wars in its universe and that too from the popular Mandalorian series. There are new bounty hunter skins and more.
