Garmin Vivofit band is exclusively available on Flipkart

The navigation system manufacturing company, Garmin now enters into the wearable market and introduces Vivofit fitness band. The band is available exclusively on Flipkart at the price of Rs. 9,990. As an introductory offer, company is providing three colorful bands (purple, teal and blue), worth Rs. 1,990, to its first 500 customers.

The Vivofit band counts steps, distance, calories, as well as you can set personalised goals to achieve better health. It boasts curved display that also shows date and time. The device can track your sleep patterns as well, and interestingly comes fitted with watch-like user-replaceable batteries that last over one year.

The fitness band is compatible with both Android and iOS, just requires Bluetooth 4.0 or above connectivity. It is water resistant up to 50 meters and designed to learn the user's activity level as well as assigns a daily goal. Once the user achieve the target, it automatically sets next day goal. The fitness band also alerts from if you've been lethargic and inactive.

It can sync with Garmin Connect wirelessly which is a free online fitness community. Users can track their progress here and check their reports in the form of graphical representations. Also, if you want can compete with others by joining online challenges.
