If you are looking for a powerful Android tablet that could give the iPad’s a run for its money, then look no further than Nexus 7 tablet from Google which made its Indian entry earlier this year at Rs 15,999. And now the same tablet is available in the country at reduced price of Rs 11,999 which makes Nexus 7 the best tablet to buy in the budget segment.

The Nexus 7 sports a 7-inch 1280×800 pixels display, runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version, packs a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, HD front camera and 4325 mAh battery.

The Nexus 7 with revised price is available on Amazon.in and this price change could be due to the 2nd gen Nexus 7 tablet which was unveiled by Google earlier this month. The Nexus 7 16 GB storage model at Rs 11,999 becomes a viable tablet alternative to the likes of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2,Acer Iconia B1 and host of other Indian-branded tablets.

The new Nexus 7 tablet could make its way to the Indian shores much earlier than the original Nexus 7 tablet and should be priced around Rs 18,000.
