A growing number of Google Pixel 7a leaks appear online ahead of the anticipated launch on 10 May at the Google IO event. The phone is once again a topic of rumours; this time, information about its colour possibilities and cases have appeared online. According to the German blog Winfuture's leak, the Pixel 7a will be available in three shades: blue, white, and grey. It is not shocking that the proprietary covers will use the same colours as the smartphone.

The Pixel 6a was launched with two colour options: white and black.

What Can We Expect from the Google Pixel 7a?

The renders imply that the Pixel 7a would not experience significant modifications, while there may be some minute differences. For instance, instead of the solid black bar on the Pixel 6a, the bar on the back might have a silver finish with a subtle gradient to match the phone's hue. In contrast to the Pixel 6a's black rims, the wheels may also have a finish that matches the smartphone. The images make it challenging to gauge the camera bar's thickness. The Pixel 7a might weigh more than its predecessor if Google chooses to employ a larger sensor, as past rumours indicate.

  • Otherwise, the Pixel 7a will probably have two cameras on the rear like the Pixel 6a. But according to a previous report, Google might include a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 primary sensor this year.
  • If accurate, this would significantly improve the Pixel 6a's 12.2-megapixel primary sensor. A 12-megapixel ultra wide Sony IMX712 camera might be added to the main camera.
  • The Google Tensor G2 SoC, which also powers Google's current Pixel 7 series, is anticipated to power the Pixel 7a. After debuting it on the Pixel 6 series, Google released the original Tensor G1 SoC on the Pixel 6a. A larger battery, a better display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and 5G are also essential features.

The Google Pixel Fold is anticipated to be the event's main attraction, even though the Pixel 7a may delight many Google fans, particularly those in India. With this product, Google is anticipated to enter the foldable phone industry and present a clever software solution for this design. Additionally, Google's Pixel Tablet, which debuted last year, may be shown to us. We might learn more about the tablet's release date from the firm during the next Google IO.
