Tis is Adobe Photoshop’s third year at the top. In fact, it is quite ahead in the race, with its nearest competitor, Macromedia Flash, coming in with a UPI of only 23%. People voted for Photoshop because they believe it is a well-known brand and a good-quality product.
The interesting thing that happened in this category is that CorelDraw that had won the Users’ Choice Award every year from 1994 to 2000 had dropped out of this category last year. This year it is back, though at number three and with a UPI of 12%.
