There are only two cards in this category that support video capturing. And incidentally, both happen to be the winners.

All the cards in this category support 256 MB of VRAM. This is because of the fact that they have to match up to high performance requirements.

PowerColor Radeon X800XT

The card is based on ATI Radeon X800XT chipset with 256 MB of

VRAM.

As far as the price is concerned, this card falls right in the middle of the five cards included in this category.

The performance of this card is at the same level as the runner-up in this category, with the difference between their scores being almost negligible. And the only other card that has managed to come somewhere near to their performance is the Leadtek WinFast A400 GT TDH 6800GT. The remaining two cards have been found to lag behind in terms of performance.

The PowerColor Radeon X800XT has built-in VIVO (Video In Video Out) feature, making it capable of capturing video.

Asus AX800XT

As noticed in most of the categories, the two winners here belong to the same chipset (ATI Radeon X800XT) as well. This 256 MB card is one of the two cards of this category that support video capturing.

As seen earlier, the Asus card has shown no compromise on the performance front whatsoever (as mentioned above the performance of both the cards of this category is at the same level) but the only place where it has lost out is the price front. Yet again, Asus is the most expensive card of the category and that too leaving the nearest competition behind by about Rs 8,500.

The card comes bundled with two games: Invisible War, Counter Strike and a good amount of software including Asus PowerDirector 3DE, Smartdoctor 4.45, Video Security Online 3.0.0.6 and Photo Express SE 4.0. RQS# E27 or
