High-end PCI-E

These high-end cards are meant for extreme gamers, who are not budget conscious but want pure performance. The price of these cards varies from Rs 20,000 to about Rs 45,000. 

In this high-end PCI-E category, we observe the same trend as in the other two PCI-E categories that follow. An Asus card, which is the runner up has an exceptionally high price when compared with the other cards in the category. And as usual, Leadtek is the winner, with one of the lowest prices (second lowest) and good performance. 

Three out of the eight cards in this category, namely Leadtek WinFast PX6800 GT TDH, XFX GeForce 6800GT and Asus Extreme N6800 Ultra, support video capturing. Chipsets in this category include NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra, NVIDIA GeForce 6800GT, ATI Radeon X800XT, ATI Radeon X850 and ATI Radeon X800XL.

Leadtek WinFast PX6800 GT TDH 



This Leadtek card is based on the NVIDIA GeForce 6800GT chipset. Just like all other cards in the category this card has 256MB of VRAM. Again Leadek scores highly on price as it is the second cheapest card in the category and a performance, which is worth much more. The card ships with two games: Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia and some software as well. The disadvantage is that both the winners in this category do not support video capturing. Asus Extreme N6800 Ultra 



Despite the high price, this card is at the number two spot, and would definitely have been the winner with a lower price. 

While all other cards fall in the price bracket of Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000, this one is priced at a whopping Rs 44,400. This 256 MB card comes with bundle of -a Web cam, Doom3, game Joint Operations and lot of good software. It's based on the NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra chipset. The Asus Extreme N6800 Ultra is among the top three performers in the category. It scored the highest in Doom3, marginally beating the Leadtek WinFast PX6800 Ultra
