How to Remove Your Number From Truecaller

Truecaller is a very popular app to detect the contact details of unknown numbers. The details of any number in True caller are basically the details submitted by the Truecaller app users.  It also shows name, address, and location of the caller if he or she has submitted their personal info in the app. The app can also block unwanted calls.

This app can even list the address of the landline phone numbers which helps you to find out the location of unknown and strange calls. Truecaller sources this data from public data sources. So, for some reason if you are not using this app and want to remove your number from Truecaller app database then here is the solution.

Steps to deactivate your the account.

First, you need to deactivate your Truecaller account:

Android

Open the app > Settings > About > Deactivate account.

iPhone

Open the app > tap the gear icon> About Truecaller > Scroll down >Deactivate Truecaller.

Windows Mobile

Open the app > Settings > Help > Deactivate account.

Once you have deactivated your Truecaller account, now it's time to remove all your personal information and number from Truecaller database.

How to remove your number from Truecaller

Step 1: Go to the Truecaller unlist page.

Step 2: Enter your phone number with the correct country code. For example +910000000

Step 3: Tick one of the reasons for unlisting, or if you wish, type your reasons for removal in the Other form.

Step 4: Key in the verification captcha.

Step 5: Click Unlist.
