This tablet notebook from HP is meant for high-end executives who want a
notebook that has both features and style. It's solidly built, neatly designed
and has all the top end features that one can associate with a business
notebook. This 12.1 inch tablet possess a complete silver finish and has
chemically-strengthened glass top, which ensures improved durability and
superior writing experience. It comes with Intel core 2 Duo ultra mobile
processor running at 1.2 GHz, along with 100 GB, 1.8-inch 4200 rpm HDD. Not so
often do we see tablet PCs having web cams, so the webcam that comes with it is
surely a welcome addition. Connectivity options abound, it comes with Bluetooth,
3G support, WiFi, and mini FireWire port.

However, it only has 2 USB ports and for an ultraportable we do expect more
than three USB ports at least.
Performance of this tablet notebook was good. In PCMark05 it scored 2273 PC
Marks which is good for business notebooks, and is better than what we got from
Asus U1. Being a cheaper option than Asus U1 argues well for it. It didn't score
well in 3D Mark06 which being a business notebook is acceptable. What makes it
stand apart from the crowd is the whopping 5 hours and 30 min of battery life
that can be further extended to a mammoth 12 hours and 5 min by connecting it to
the extended battery that comes along with the notebook.
Bottomline: A perfect stylish and exclusive
mobile companion for elite executives
