ProBook is a business notebook for small and medium businesses. It comes with
a glossy finish on the top which is extremely prone to fingerprints and
scratches. The laptop has 4 USB ports, VGA out, HDMI out, and a 3/4 ExpressCard
slot placed neatly on the sides along with an Ethernet port and optical drive.
On the front, it has a card reader and audio ports making this notebook fully
loaded. The 15.6” widescreen display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 which gives
great viewing area. The full size keyboard is great to work on thanks to the
adequate spacing between keys.
The touchpad works great and is very responsive.
The overall build quality of the notebook is above average, but the excessive
use of plastic would have its toll during wear and tear.
We ran our standard benchmarks to check its performance and to our dismay,
the notebook could do better on this front. In 3Dmark06, it scored a mere 861,
mainly due to lack of a good dedicated graphics chipset. In PCMark 05, the
notebook scored 3986 which is average when compared with similar laptops. The
notebook gave us a battery backup of 4 hours 37 minutes which is pretty
impressive for a 15.6” notebook.

Bottomline: With a great battery backup and a decent performance, this
one is fully loaded for business usage.
