The DesignJet 10PS is the cheapest printer in the DesignJet series for graphics professionals. The printer can be connected to your computer via the parallel or USB ports. It also has 16 MB onboard memory to cache incoming data. It can print up to a maximum resolution of 2400x1200 on premium photo papers, and takes between two to five minutes to produce a print depending on the quality and size of the image. The printer uses six cartridges and is quite big in size, as it prints primarily on A3 size media. It supports different kinds of media. It has drivers for both PCs and
Mac.

The HP DesignJet printer comes with six ink cartridges. The following table provides the number of plots possible with each. This has been taken on HP proofing Matte finish paper at 15 percent coverage on an A4 sheet in best mode. |
of this printer is excellent, and it gave us photo quality prints on glossy media. One has to be prudent while making use of the printer though, since the media and ink costs could add up to a substantial amount.
Cost of cartridges varies for different colors, and so does the life of each (See table for the number of plots possible with each cartridge). The printer ships with cartridges, one tray, the required software, and some HP printing material to get you started.
Overall, a good deal at Rs 55,000.
