iBall launches Andi Avonte 5 with a rotating 8 MP Camera at Rs. 5,999

iBall is certainly experimenting a lot with the camera modules of its smartphones. Recently it launched mSLR Cobalt 4, at Rs. 8,499 with three detachable lenses.  And now the company is back with Andi Avonte 5, a budget device with a rotatable 8 MP camera at Rs. 5,999. The smartphone will be available across the country within the first week of July.

Taking cues from the OPPO N1 Mini, iBall Andi Avonte 5 has a rotating 8-megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash that can be used both as a rear camera and a front-facing camera. The smartphone also integrates read and write support for 21 regional languages, and system language support for 9 regional languages.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs on an older version of Android, i.e 4.4 KitKat, and features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) IPS display. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM, the smartphone will serve the basic multitasking processes.

The Andi Avonte 5 comes with 8 GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card . In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and FM radio. It is backed by a 2150mAh battery.
