The Problem: Insurance companies are always looking for solutions to process claims faster and detect fraud cases early enough. When customers intimate about an incident and raise a claim, insurance company's personnel have to verify it and also collect the necessary evidence to support the same. Most of the time, it is a very time consuming process and also very expensive.
The Solution: ICICI Lombard GIC's in-house IT team introduced FastTrack Mobile Claim tablet application, which allows faster claim processing. Field personnel can visit the place and capture evidence and fill in the necessary data. This data then gets transferred to a central server in real time and is really available for analysis and claims processing.
The Result: The rollout of this app has led to an increase in customer satisfaction with only 25% resource optimization whereas reducing costs by 4-5%. Customers have also benefited with real time notification about their claim status with lesser chances of human error and higher data accuracy. 55% of the company's insurance claims are now being filed through this application.
