Using an integrated ERP system which can resolve the benefit and

accountability at a reliable cost is one of the key themes of this project.

Keeping track of the bird at each & every age, so that they can identify for

each bird their Parents flock & age after hatchery in broiler was the main

purpose of project. Through this, they can also do the mortality analysis by

quality parameters, analyze the weight and growth.

Using standard SAP Codes, Indian Broiler Group implemented SAP without any

enhancements. The modules that were implemented consists of SAP FICO, SAP MM,

SAP PS, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP PM and SAP PP.

On the basis of their requirements, daily and weekly reports can be easily

generated and they are able to control deviation between standards & the actual

parameters. More benefits include evaluating the cost of production, sale as per

the standards, calculating age, flock wise performance, etc. Moreover on the

basis of the reports, measuring steps like production loss, sale, gain,

profitability can also be taken. It also enables them to enhance the system as

per their business needs and can also retain annual productivity gain. Being a

Live Stock industry where the stock changes frequently, they faced challenges in

noting the age of a bird, performance, feed consumption ratio, etc.
