HP has been king in this category for many years now and this year again, it is the winner. Though Canon, as next in line, lags behind HP with a UPI of 25%, its position has improved since last year (its UPI last year was 7%). Then come Epson and Lexmark. Epson, too, has gone up a couple of notches since last year-this year its UPI is 16%, whereas last year it was 7%.

The main reasons given for choosing HP was that it is a good-quality product and a well-known brand. The main reason for choosing Canon was that it’s a well-known brand.
