Journal App and Apple Music update delay

Features that will not be available as  part of the September 18 software update  include the Journal app. The program aims to provide iPhone users with a comprehensive platform to record their daily experiences and memories. It goes beyond just entering text, allowing you to add images, music and audio recordings.

The Journal app  even makes personalized recommendations based on the user's recent activities. In  entertainment, Apple Music users will soon be able to enjoy collaborative playlists. This feature, which is not a part of the September 18 update, allows multiple users to  add, reorder, and delete songs in a shared playlist. This is a change to make the Apple Music experience more social and interactive.

A functional improvement of the AirDrop service is also on the horizon. After an update  later in 2023, transferring content  via AirDrop will no longer be limited to physical proximity. As long as both the sender and recipient are signed in to their iCloud account, transfers over the Internet can continue  even when the devices are out of AirDrop.

Are More iOS 17 features coming soon?

More iOS 17 features will be available later in 2023. According to MacRumors, these include various features, such as the ability to reply to messages with any sticker via the Tapback menu and a group chat arrow  in the Messages.

Extras range from the Favorite Songs playlist in the music app to smart format recognition for PDF files. Apple Fitness will also get an "Audio Focus" feature, which MacRumors says will allow users to prioritize either the music or the trainer's voice based on their preferences.

In terms of sign-in convenience, Apple ID proximity sign-in will soon be possible on a trusted iPhone or iPad when setting up a new Apple device, the report added.
