However, with the introduction of iOS 17 later this autumn, Apple has opted to shift the red "End" indicator to the right side of the screen. According to AP, this change will be accompanied by the relocation of additional elements downwards to coincide with the new arrangement. According to reports, while Apple released a preview guide for iOS 17 in June, interest has recently increased as people dive into beta versions of the next software upgrade.

What all changes has made to the calling Interface?

Various news sources shared a series of  iOS 17 beta images this week that show this small change that could cause frustration for users. In addition to moving the end button, there have been additional changes to the layout of call functions that appeared in previous iterations of iOS, the report adds.

In particular, the positions of the "Mute" and "Speaker" buttons have been swapped, mirroring the exchange between the "FaceTime" and "Keyboard" options. In addition, the ability to search contacts seems to be combined with the function of adding a call.

According to information on its website, Apple offers a beta program that allows selected users to try out software before it goes public. The feedback collected from these participants helps Apple identify problems and improve the software before release.

Apart from possible changes in the layout of the call icons, iOS 17 is set to bring several new features to Apple users. These include improvements to autocorrect, the introduction of a new diary program and real-time voicemail transcription that allows users to answer and respond when a caller leaves a message.
